The triangular fort of 1706 later served fiscal, tourism and municipal functions. A small defensive structure became part of everyday civic affairs.
Compare its sea and town faces: entrance, wall tops and corners respond to different uses.
From the public square, read the low walls and corners, then look towards the bay. How does the triangular plan orient the fort? Respect permitted access.
