01 / Building stories
Read a building, discover a way of living.
In the valley, Ammaia shifts attention from the medieval hilltop to Roman urban remains. Excavation and research continue; structures and displays represent only part of what is known.
Before imagining every low wall as a complete building, read the panels. Distinguish established structures, interpretations and closed research areas. Archaeology reveals the past while teaching patience with what is missing.
What to notice
Enter through reception and follow open routes; do not step onto remains or enter research areas.
Meng makes not knowing a beginning. In a laboratory or a debated site, ask a question you can check against evidence. Curiosity needs sources and a willingness to recognise provisional limits.

Meng allows blank spaces on a map. Research adds knowledge and may revise answers. Record both what you see and what you do not yet know to give curiosity direction.
Bring the question into everyday life
Write one observation and one uncertain explanation. Look for information that could change your judgement. Reformulating the question can also deepen understanding.
